Job summary

Animal ER Care - Central is seeking compassionate veterinary technicians to join our urgent care team in Colorado Springs. The outpatient technician role focuses on triage assessment, patient care, stabilization, and support of sedation/anesthesia procedures.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of veterinary tech experience, excellent communication with clients, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Shifts include 12-hour periods, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year as a veterinary technician.
• Ability to maintain composure during times of high stress.
• Excellent communication skills with owners and staff.
• Must excel in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift animals up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assess critical triages, provide patient care and stabilization.
• Induction and monitoring of sedation and anesthetic procedures.
• Support outpatient treatments and general urgent care operations.
