Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is hiring a valet for the OHSU Emergency Room operation in Portland, OR. This role features Saturday–Wednesday shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, paying $18.00/hour plus tips.

You will interact with patients and visitors, drive vehicles, and maintain safety and courtesy on campus. Ideal candidates have prior customer service experience, the ability to drive manual transmission is a plus, and a clean driving record to pass an MVR check.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Previous parking experience is preferred.
• Ability to drive a vehicle with a manual transmission is a plus.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. is required.
• Clean driving record to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on our Promise by ensuring every moment matters for our clients, resolving requests and concerns efficiently and communicating proactively.
• Inspect every vehicle before safely parking it, noting all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know major streets, landmarks, and freeways to ensure a seamless transportation experience for customers.
• Report to work in a clean uniform, on time, and remain in uniform during the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
