Job summary

Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care Sellersburg is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift to provide direct patient care from admission to discharge in an ER/urgent care hybrid setting.

The RN collaborates with the on-shift team to ensure patient safety and quality care. Indiana RN license, BLS, PALS, ACLS within specified timelines, and NIH Stroke Scale certification within 10 weeks are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• PALS required within 12 months of hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire.
• Previous ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Function as on-shift team member delivering patient care in ER/Urgent Care setting.
