Job summary

Roshal Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for PRN shifts in Port Charlotte, FL. You will perform ultrasound studies, including abdominal, OB, and vascular exams, in a fast-paced ER/hospital setting, often traveling between facilities.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year post-graduation ultrasound experience, ARDMS RDMS certification, a valid driver's license, and BLS/CPR. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS certification - RDMS (ideally Ab or OB).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check.
• Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures.
• Ability to use mobile phone devices & applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies in accordance with accepted protocols.
• Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly and professionally to all work-related calls.
• Contact the assigned facility with estimated arrival time and arrive at the facility within prescribed timeframe.
• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
• Maintain work areas in compliance with client’s standards.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and files, as directed.
• Document work processes, as required.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
