Job summary

Roshal Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Wharton, TX to perform diagnostic ultrasound studies in an ER-focused setting. The role offers full-time and PRN shifts, with opportunities for professional growth and a commitment to patient-centered imaging care.

Requirements include 1+ year post-graduate ultrasound experience, ARDMS RDMS (Abd or OB preferred), valid driver’s license, and BLS/CPR. Strong communication and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (Abd or OB preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License and BLS/CPR.
• Strong interpersonal communication and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and handle hospital environments.
• Able to perform general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies per accepted protocols.
• Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly to work-related calls.
• Coordinate arrival time and arrive within prescribed timeframe.
• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
• Maintain work areas in compliance with client’s standards.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and files, as directed.
• Document work processes, as required.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
