Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a General Emergency Department assignment serving both adults and children. Candidates should have at least 1 year of ER experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

The role requires an active IN license, strong triage and monitoring skills, and comfort with Cerner charting. Night shift, 19:00–07:30, Fri–Sun, with travel expectations and housing/benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required, in hand prior to start date
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Minimum of 1 year of ER experience required
• Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE-accredited program at time of graduation
• Experience with respiratory care, IV therapy, phlebotomy and central line care/management
• Ability to interpret ABG and manage sedation/airway support
• Triage, PPE/isolation precautions, orthopedic/neurological trauma care experience
• Must be willing to travel and meet supervisor references requirements

Responsibilities

• Treating combined adult and pediatric patients in General Emergency Department
• Maintain patient monitoring and respond to emergencies
• Night shift on a 3x12 schedule: 19:00–07:30, Friday–Sunday
• Operate Cerner charting system and manage rapid response duties
• Floating within hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Provide cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Triage and manage emergency/trauma cases including ortho/ neuro
