American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on night shifts in Michigan. Active MI RN license and at least 2 years ER experience are required, with travel nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission.
• Compact license not accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• Current certifications required: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Work in a 24/7 Emergency Department providing care ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma.
• Facility offers 24-hour specialty support in Heart & Vascular Services, Neurosciences, Radiology, Anesthesiology, and Surgery.
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts with 3p or 7p start times.
• Weekend rotation required, varying by shift start time (every other or every third weekend).
• Every other holiday coverage required.
• No on-call requirements.
• Provide emergency nursing care across a broad range of acuities, from minor injuries to major trauma.
• Facility enforces a strict attendance policy allowing no more than 3 absences or late arrivals (20+ minutes) before termination, with exceptions considered for documented illness or hospitalization.
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted during the assignment.
• Local candidates within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers and subject to a reduced travel rate.
• Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date.
