Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ER HOLD/TELE Night Shift. The role provides safe, compassionate nursing care, supports the care team, and coordinates stroke-focused activities, including telemedicine and CT preparation, with ongoing annual stroke training.

Requirements include Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS or equivalent specialty training, and hospital acute care experience. Night shift and full-time status are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• BLS current upon hire; ACLS or required specialty training within three months.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in line with policies.
• Lead and support the healthcare team and coordinate care.
• Recognize stroke signs, initiate stroke alert process, and assist with telemedicine and CT prep.
• Document NIHSS and bedside swallow, and support Endovascular procedures as indicated.
• Maintain stroke knowledge with annual training.
