Job summary

Complete Care ER in La Vernia, TX is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to join our fast-paced team. You will triage patients, support emergency procedures, monitor vitals, and help ensure timely, high-quality care for patients in urgent need.

We value collaboration, ongoing learning, and patient-centered service. A paramedic/EMT license and BLS are essential, with ACLS/PALS achievable within 6 months; OSHA/HIPAA/CLIA knowledge is expected. This role offers growth and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic, EMT-P, EMT-A, EMT-B, or LVN license in good standing.
• 1–2 years of experience in an emergency room, urgent care, or similar healthcare setting.
• Current BLS and ability to obtain ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA and CLIA standards.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and assist with emergency medical procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and provide immediate care under the supervision of healthcare providers.
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and tests.
• Maintain and organize medical equipment and supplies.
• Administer first aid and life-saving measures as needed.
• Document patient information and update medical records.
• Assist in patient transportation to/from various departments.
