Job summary

We seek a Nurse's Aide to deliver direct care, assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers, handle documentation in the EMR, and maintain competencies in EKGs, glucose

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year satisfactory experience as a Nurse's Aide in a hospital or prior EMT experience preferred.
• Good communication skills; speaks and writes clearly.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct care to patients and creates a safe, comfortable environment.
• Assist with selected procedures related to admission, discharge and transfer of patients.
• Documentation in the Electronic Medical Record.
• Assists with transfer of patient to a bed, wheelchair or stretcher using patient care equipment safely.
• Performs and maintains competencies related to EKGs, glucose testing and phlebotomy.
• Participates in customer service activities.

Salary Range

USD $27.68 - USD $27.68 /Hr.
