Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking an Emergency Department Tech to assist in delivering supportive clinical care to patients of all ages in a 48-bed ED. Responsibilities include EKGs, phlebotomy, IV therapies, stocking, and transporting, along with clerical tasks and routine duties as assigned.

The role requires basic licensure in Florida (EMT/EMT-P/CNA/MA) and BLS/ACLS certifications, with opportunities for professional growth within UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• State of Florida EMT, EMT-P, CNA, MA License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Responsibilities

The Tech works in a 48 bed, full-service Emergency Department, treating all ages. This role assumes the responsibility for assisting with the implementation of supportive clinical care. This includes strong clinical skills, clerical/courier duties, stocking, transporting, performing EKG’s, phlebotomy, IV’s and specific patient care duties.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned
