Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care Jefferson Ridge in Jeffersonville, IN seeks an ER Tech on a PRN, daytime schedule. The role supports nursing staff with patient care, triage, EKGs, specimen collection, and transporter duties in a hybrid ER-urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification from approved course required, will provide training.
• 1 year of ER experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Triaging patients and responding to call lights.
• Assisting with varied procedure setups while maintaining sterile fields.
• Cleaning and dressing wounds; assisting with casting and splinting.
• Collecting swabs (flu & strep) and transporting patients.
• Performing EKGs as requested and assisting with resuscitations.
• Inserting Foley catheters or performing phlebotomy as needed.
