Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a registered nurse to implement the nursing process for patients of all ages and provide care consistent with Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies. This part-time role includes weekend shifts and a 24-hour weekly schedule.

The nurse collaborates with the inter-professional team to enhance patient outcomes and participates in unit-based and hospital governance while using the Nursing Process as the framework for care.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN License is required.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/reassessment.
• Develops plan of care utilizing appropriate evidence based standards of care.
• Provides care consistent with policies, procedures, current evidence based professional standards of practice and Baptist Health Louisville's nursing mission, vision, values and model of care.
• Evaluates patient response to treatment.
• Applies critical thinking, clinical reasoning, organizational and leadership skills.
