Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with 1 year of experience.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
- NIH Stroke Scale within 60 days of employment.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year of employment.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course or PALS must be obtained within 30 days.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient pain regularly for effective pain management.
- Perform and document procedures as ordered by medical providers.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
- Teach patients and families about medical conditions and care plans.
