Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Directs and leads other team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate care.
• Provides patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and environmental needs.
• Maintains safe, therapeutic environment respecting patient privacy and professional conduct.
• Participates in professional practice model, governance, peer review and ongoing professional development.
• Coordinates care delivery using care management principles to improve patient outcomes.
