Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a variable shift, PRN Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Henderson, TX. This role supports a Level IV trauma center-like environment with a focus on high-quality patient care and teamwork.

The RN will deliver nurse-driven care across age groups, align with treatment protocols, and participate in a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes. The position requires active Texas RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and related certifications with orientation completion.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current Texas RN license required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS required before end of orientation.
• PALS or ENPC certification required before end of orientation.
• NIHSS certification required before end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Administers care to a patient population from newborn to geriatric with a collaborative approach.
• Prioritizes care based on patient assessment and implements a care plan.
• Delivers care per physician orders and department policy.
