Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina in Mullins, SC is seeking an experienced PRN Registered Nurse for Emergency Services. Eligible to participate in the State Retirement Program.

You will provide nursing care using the nursing process, lead assigned team members, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate care in line with MUSC standards. Minimum requirements: Associate's Degree, at least one year of RN experience, SC nursing license (or compact), and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and a minimum of one year of RN work experience required.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse by the SC Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team for age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Maintain patient privacy and a safe, respectful, and professional environment in line with MUSC standards.
• Participate in professional practice governance and continuous clinical improvement.
