Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital assignments. The role offers flexible scheduling with evening and night shifts, and daily pay options through RapidPay.

Responsibilities include triage, medication administration, and coordination with physicians in a fast-paced ER environment. Active RN license with BLS and ACLS is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of acute-care ER experience and credentialing

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within the facility's scope.
