First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital assignments in Virginia. You can select shifts that fit your schedule while earning competitive hourly pay and enjoying flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include triage, patient assessment, administering medications, monitoring patient condition, and coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
