Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Registered Nurse for Emergency Services on a Per Diem shift. The role requires active RN licensure in the state of practice and a BSN is preferred, with ongoing BLS (and ACLS as unit dependent) requirements.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, coordinating patient plans, and advocating for patients while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Per Diem status and variable shifts are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse currently licensed in the state of employment.
• BLS certification must be maintained.
• ACLS is unit dependent.
• Education requirements are determined by the Nursing Department.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Develop and coordinate the patient care plan to achieve goals and outcomes.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care, respecting patient autonomy and dignity.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Ensure patient safety and quality through evidence-based practice.
• Demonstrate leadership within the care team and participate in education programs.
• Manage multiple responsibilities and respond to urgent requests as needed.
