Job summary

Mercy Edmond Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse for the Emergency Department. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, with shifts from 11am to 11pm, supporting patient care and ED operations.

You will apply the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and collaborate with other departments to coordinate care. Required are an RN license, BLS, and a BSN/ADP or diploma, with physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications may be required based on position/unit and timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients and evaluates care by direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
