Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across departments, partnering with medical providers to support outcomes and the patient experience.

You will assess pain, perform procedures, educate patients and families, and ensure timely documentation, while upholding standards of nursing practice and our mission to provide compassionate care and excellence.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• RN: Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, patient status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
