Job summary

Mercy Hospital Perry, Emergency Department is seeking a Night Shift RN for full-time, delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate with departments, and ensure patient rights and privacy are maintained.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program and an active RN license; BLS is required with possible additional certifications. Mercy offers incentives and educational bridging options to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain active RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for long shifts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Evaluate overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality per Mercy standards.
