Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (36 hours per week) with a rotating weekend schedule. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing and has 0-1 year of clinical experience, preferably in an emergency department.

You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor vitals, document care, and coordinate with the healthcare team to adjust plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license required (state license).
• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care principles.
• Ability to screen and triage acute patients and communicate with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions.
