Qualifications

• Nursing degree required and RN license. [Required]
• LPNs are not eligible; must hold RN licensure.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Windows programs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking skills appropriate to patient’s level of care.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and timely.
• Conducts ongoing patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care.
• Implements plan of care safely and documents actions.
• Collaborates with team to admit, discharge, and transfer patients.
• Participates in peer interviewing and peer review processes as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Participates in quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives in nursing.
• Advocates for patient rights and safety; ensures proper use of supplies and equipment.
• Follows PPE usage, hand hygiene, and safety regulations.
