Job summary

Adventist Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in the ED Level II for Clearlake, CA. The role supports MedSurg/ICU with nursing assessment, documentation and IV therapy, while meeting regulatory and safety requirements.

Requirements include CA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least 1 year of recent RN experience or EMT/ED Tech with 2+ years. MICN may be required within 1 year; MICN/NRP/TNCC/CEN encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• MICN desired to be completed within one year of hire.
• MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Define characteristics needed to perform as RN in MedSurg and ICU.
• Maintain nursing documentation including patient histories and assessments.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret results.
• Prepare, administer, monitor and discontinue IV fluids.
• Maintain professionalism and meet competency requirements.
