Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital opportunities in Alabama. You can choose shifts that fit your schedule while working with a local staffing team that provides competitive pay and supportive scheduling.

Shifts include 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM with daily pay available. Active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and 2+ years ER experience are required; facility credentialing is expected to be completed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritise patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
