Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital shifts in Virginia. The role offers flexible scheduling and per diem pay with daily and weekly pay options, including rapid pay cards.

Shifts include early evenings and overnight rotations, with a competitive hourly rate of $57.65. Candidate must hold an active RN license, at least 2 years of ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
