Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia seeks an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for Per Diem hospital shifts. You will work in a fast-paced ER, assess patients, triage, administer meds, and coordinate with physicians. Per diem scheduling offers flexible shifts and rapid pay options.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs, administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient condition and coordinate care with physicians and staff.
• Respond to emergencies and document assessments and interventions.
