First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital opportunities. Choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local staffing team that provides competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

We offer the ability to work as little as one shift per month and provide support from a staffing team with rapid pay options. Evening and night shifts are available and local coordinators assist with credentialing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Active RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergencies and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
