Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital opportunities. Choose shifts that fit your availability and work with a local staffing team that provides competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and support from 5:00 AM-11:30 PM.

Active RN license required with a minimum of 2 years' recent ER experience, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and ability to complete facility credentialing.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to meet facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
