Job summary

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgical Hospital Kingwood is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to deliver direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced ER. The RN must triage safely, prioritize based on patient needs, and communicate changes in status with ED physicians.

Shift is Days, scheduled as 3x12s, with responsibilities including rapid assessment and care coordination in the emergency setting. BLS/ACLS/PALS are required to maintain readiness for high-acuity care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• At least three (2) years of experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or similar unit.
• RN, current in the State of Texas.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting.
• Demonstrate triage skills to determine priorities of care.
• Communicate with Emergency Department physician about patient status and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
