Job summary

Lutheran Health Network in Indiana seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. You will document assessments, administer medications, and participate in emergency interventions while maintaining a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in acute care.
• RN licensure is required and BCLS certification is required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings, reporting changes to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and the care team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions (e.g., CPR).
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and discharge care.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards.
