Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Mankato, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care. The RN will practice within Mayo Clinic’s Nursing Professional Practice Model, demonstrate leadership, and contribute to quality improvement.

TN sponsorship is available for eligible candidates. Requirements include RN licensure, a nursing degree, BLS, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and on-call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Evidence of nursing degree completion within required timeframes for RN start dates.
• One year of RN or LPN experience preferred.
• Current RN license as per state requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Lead and mentor in nursing practice and quality improvement.
• Communicate effectively within care teams and document care.
• Adhere to the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• May be required to drive a personal vehicle when needed.
