Job summary

Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking an RN to deliver coordinated nursing care within an acute care setting. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate with the healthcare team, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

The role requires state RN licensure and CPR/BLS; ACLS/PALS as per AH policy. BSN is preferred. 12-hour day shifts in Emergency Department with a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• ACLS/PALS or ARC-PALS required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred or higher.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to standards and nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff; coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and healthcare team to provide safe, healing environment.
• Delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
