• Assessment and treatment for people of all ages
• Board-certified or board-eligible emergency physicians
• Specially-trained nurses
• Primary Stroke Center

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an RN
• ADN Required; BSN Preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in the ER in an Acute Care hospital environment
• Willing to speak with candidates that don't have recent acute care experience. However, as long as it is not more than 5 years that they have not been in acute care. The decision also depends on how many years the candidate has.
• Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider
• ACLS Certification Preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
