Job summary

Novant Health in Wilmington, NC is hiring for a full-time Emergency Room RN. You will assess patients, prioritize care across a broad range of emergencies, and work with physicians and the care team to deliver rapid, evidence-based treatment.

You will administer meds and interventions in a fast-paced setting while educating and supporting patients and families throughout their stay. RN licensure in-state is required, BSN preferred, with at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; nursing program graduate with RN licensure required.
• Experience: one year relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize patients across a wide range of conditions, injuries, and acuity levels.
• Respond quickly to changing patient needs using critical thinking, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions in a fast-paced environment.
• Educate, support, and advocate for patients and families throughout their emergency care experience.
