Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an ER Registered Nurse for a Baton Rouge, LA-based assignment. You’ll work day shifts in the ED on a 13-week contract, with a weekly stipend of $1,267 and pay lines of $17–$19/hour, onsite.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN license, BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS; 2 years of ER experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• CPR and life support certifications as listed (ACLS, PALS, CPI helpful).
• 2 years of ER nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process to meet patient needs.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team and supervise nursing staff.
• Use data to evaluate care and support quality improvements.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with laws and standards.
