Job summary

Mercy Health’s Lourdes Hospital seeks an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ER. The ideal candidate will collaborate with an interprofessional team, assess patient needs, and implement nursing interventions to support positive outcomes while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements include RN licensure and BLS (ACLS/PALS preferred; ACLS and PALS within 6 months). Experience in ER/critical care is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in state.
• ACLS and/or PALS certifications preferred at hire; ACLS/PALS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for a broad spectrum of patients from short-stay to trauma.
• Administer medications safely per policies.
• Assess patient status and develop care plans to improve outcomes.

Education

Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
