First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital assignments. You can pick shifts that fit your schedule and enjoy competitive pay with flexible scheduling and daily pay options.

Join a locally owned team that offers support from 5:00 AM–11:30 PM and opportunities for evening and night shifts. Active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergencies and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform RN duties within facility requirements.

ER RN Responsibilities
