Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital assignments in North Carolina. Choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local staffing team that values reliable, high-quality patient care and offers competitive per diem pay.

Position includes a $57.65/hour rate, flexible scheduling, daily and weekly pay options, and access to evening and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
