Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for Per Diem hospital opportunities in the United States. You can choose shifts that fit your availability and work with a local staffing team that provides competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and support from 5:00 AM-11:30 PM.

Responsibilities include acute-care ER assessment, triage, medications, and coordination with physicians. Active RN license with BLS/ACLS and 2+ years ER experience required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritise patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergencies and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
