Job summary

SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Wentzville is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care in high-acuity settings. The role includes data collection, timely triage, patient education, and coordination of care in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.

The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, leadership in professional settings, and adherence to safety standards while delivering patient-centered emergency nursing care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license and eligibility to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certifications in ALS, ENPC, NRP, PALS, TNCC as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to patient health.
• Performs triage to prioritize care based on age and needs.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses.
• Defines outcomes and plans individualized to patient.
• Implements and coordinates care, educating patients.
