Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking an Emergency Services Staff Nurse to provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department for a diverse patient population. The role requires following the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while maintaining competency with medical equipment and hospital policies.

Minimum qualifications include a graduate nursing degree with an NH license and current BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with NH license.
• Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications (within stated timeframes).
• 1 year Medical/Surgical nursing experience or 6 months ER/CCU preferred.
• Current license to practice in the state of New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and supervise patient care as needed.
• Document all patient care activities clearly and timely.
