Job summary

ConnectedHealth West of Albuquerque, NM is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide rapid, high-quality care for patients with urgent or life-threatening conditions. You will perform triage, administer medications and IV therapy, monitor patients, collaborate with physicians and teams, and educate patients and families while maintaining compliance with hospital protocols.

Qualifications

Active RN license in NM or compact license.
ADN or BSN required by hire.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on acuity.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments per physician orders.
Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition.
Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and discharge instructions.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and emergency protocols.
