Job summary

Intermountain Health Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, using evidence-based practice and coordination with the health team.

The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to deliver patient-centered care, delegate appropriately, document accurately, and maintain professional standards. Comprehensive benefits and a 36-hour work week are included.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• BSN required within four years for RNs with less than 12 months of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from care team.
• Develop individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement.
• Coordinate and delegate care with the interdisciplinary team to deliver plan.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise the care plan as needed.
• Promote professionalism, comply with standards, and document accurately.
