Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center seeks a dedicated Staff Nurse (RN) to join our patient‑centered care team. You will provide direct and indirect nursing care using the nursing process, supervise other staff, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care.

The role requires Texas RN licensure, BSN preferred, and current BLS certification, with a 36‑hour week over 3 days and a 12X3 Mid/Evening shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. (TX RN license required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• BSN preferred, or higher education as required by department

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate)
• Supervise other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team
• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with unit standards of care
• Communicate clearly and build relationships to promote a collaborative environment
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate documentation
