Job summary

Hanker Systems Inc. seeks an experienced Emergency Department nurse in California. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of ER/ED nursing, holds an active CA RN license, and current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications. Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions.

You will perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation, assess patients, monitor vitals, prioritize care, and coordinate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ER/ED nursing experience.
• Active California RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI.
• Must receive the flu vaccine; no exemptions permitted.
• Required skills: IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
• Trauma and triage experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Initiate IV access and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and assist with conscious sedation procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
