Job summary

TotalCare in DeSoto, TX is seeking an ER Radiology Technologist for PRN mixed weekend shifts. This role operates radiologic equipment to produce radiography and CT scans for diagnostic purposes.

The incumbent will assist physicians and nurses with patient care under supervision, perform vital signs, IV initiations, blood draws, and support a multidisciplinary team while maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified radiologic technologist and licensed in the state.
• Experience with X-ray and CT imaging preferred.
• Ability to assist physicians and nurses in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to perform X-ray and CT scans.
• Assists physicians and nurses with basic patient care under supervision.
• Performs vital signs, IV initiation, and blood draws as needed.
• Documents results and coordinates with radiology reads and interpretations.
• Maintains department safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Supports front office and other staff as required.
