Job summary

The Department of Radiology at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans seeks an affable physician for an academic faculty position in Emergency Radiology. Rank: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). Fellowship training is a plus but not required.

ABR certification and Louisiana license before hire are required. We provide multi-modality radiology services at a Level 1 Trauma Center with a modern 300+ bed facility.

Qualifications

• ABR certified or on pathway to full board certification and Louisiana medical license before hire date.
• Fellowship training will be considered a plus.
• Strong clinical skills and interest in sharing knowledge with residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency radiology coverage, predominantly 8pm–8am shifts.
• Teach and supervise radiology residents and fellows.
• Engage in academic duties, patient care, and departmental service.
